How would I go about adding personal work experience in my

... Resume? Under work experience I got my current job and another job I did but I'd like to add my personal work experience as well with helping family with computer issues and building computer for myself and my brother and friend. Like what should I add for like:

Unless you're getting paid for it or it was volunteer experience, don't list it. Once you put it down as a "job" employers may want to contact them as a reference and if they can't verify it, it gets fishy.

Depending how long your resume is, you can put it under activities.

If you weren't getting paid for it, or had a job for it, you can't list it as a job, you could add it in the box that asks if you have any kind of experience, certificates, or volunteer work to add, or special skills pertaining to the job. Good luck.

You don't... Resumes aren't some university applications. You aren't going to score any points by claiming that you built a computer for yourself in your own free time. At most, include it in a hobby section but whether you should have that section on your resume is questionable by itself.

I guess it may help if it's for some volunteer positions aimed to provide experience for high school kids. But if it's for a real world computer-related tech job, then the employer will have a good chuckle and maybe say "aww".
