Like with Road to Ninja, Kishimoto is involved in the making of this one. It's also part of the "Naruto's New Era Opening Project".

The new era project thing makes it sound like there will be a Part III. Possibly GT style, where the manga ends and it's mostly anime original.
@SunsetChaos It's the first I've heard of that in my 10 years of following Naruto. I'm quite sure what you're thinking of is fan speculation, because as of right now, the series is still in "Part II", with no solid confirmation of Kishi doing another timeskip.

naruto is gay as nipples lol thank god ima enjoy this movie than have to never hear kids at school saying " DID U READ TEH NEW CHAPTER?"
Idk about you guys, but I always thought there were 3 "chapters" or story arcs or whatever. Like there's Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, and something else.
I just remember hearing/reading somewhere a looooong time ago back before Naruto even had an anime. Wasn't surprised when shippuden came out.
I still think there will be a third one so I doubt it'll end before then unless the company goes bankrupt (unlikely). I could be wrong though
Edit: from looking at the wikipedia page, I think it's called "Part I", "Part II", etc.

Theres a BIG difference between a trailer and teaser..
Dang, my friend loved this story. now its ending. had a blast in the past.
^ Definitely very Obito. I was expecting him to resemble his dad more (i.e.longer hair), but this is fine too. He'd look very handsome in a suit and tie. I hope the "NARUTO" on his butt isn't actually part of the design.
