Noob question about %boss
How much do bosses reduce your damage by?
Like, how much %boss do I need to be able to deal just as much damage to a boss than to a normal monster?
I realize all bosses have their differences, but ROUGHLY how much do I need? o;

@well: not everyone has that 30% from a skill and weapon nebs are 21% at best which not everyone can afford (same to the potentials). so with 30% Leafre, 15% Lumi, say 1 21% Neb and 1 15% Potential, 10% Ambition, from that, the %Ignore you'd get is 64% Ignore. throw in my Class, which is 20% from Skill and 40% from attack, 83%. that is still 20.71 PDR left on Boss monsters with 120 PDR and 1.73 PDR on normal monsters. that's still a 19.3% drop in relative dmg. and note that AM have a huge boost from Skill %Ignore, too, so not everyone can get to 83% easily. even if one were to get 90% Ignore, 12 PDR is still a 10.5% drop in dmg.
if we tried 30% Leafre, 30% Pot, 30% Pot, 21% Neb, 21% Neb, 10% Ambition, 15% Lumi, that's still only 83.6%.

@well it's certainly not negligible. the stat window may say 100% Ignore but that's extremely misleading. if you had 30%, 30%, and 40% sources, you'd have 70.6% Ignore. against a Boss with 120 PDR, that will mean they're still ignoring 35.28% of your dmg.
Well as far as I know, there's two things that effect your damage on bosses.
1. Boss's PDR (Physical Damage Reduction) which can be negated by % Defense Ignore potentials
2. 50% Damage Cut (Automatically cuts your damage to 50% no matter what) on bosses like Hilla, Pink Bean, Cygnus, RA, Magnus
%boss has nothing to do with "dealing normal damage"
Bosses have high defense and your best bet would be %ignore defense
Thats where your damage goes.
However on the same end, %boss still makes your damage better for bosses
Boss doesnt reduce your damage, with any amount of boss you would hit higher on a boss then you would a normal monster, certain bosses like hilla also require an incredible amount of pdr before it is noticeable.
