I like them, however it's very dumb having to require 2nd job mastery books, since its mandatory. Also the fact that phantom blow and final cut can only be obtained seperately. The class requires a lot of prioritizing.

I'd say they need a nerf, but it feels more like the adventurer thieves need a buff.

I love my dual blade

At first in 2010, They were like the coolest class (everyone thought it was another hero) but thanks to Nexon's Mutiny update, they lost that unique feeling, so, I still play as them, though they repetitive and boring.

They're fun but the amount of money that is needed to fund them with mastery books is just ridiculous....

I find the novelty of dual blades wears off until you start bossing, at which point there is oodles of fun to be had
Besides dual bladers being one of the highest dmg dealing classes, lez be honest, they're also the target of SAO fangirls[boys]

I think I'll keep playing til Xenon and switch...

fun extremely fun, number one in fun for me followed right by cannoneers. As a DB you NEVER GET HIT, NEVER! I rebuff on the ground, rite in the middle of the mobs, no sissy climb on a ladder andrebuff. I can sit right on top of the boss and not get hit. Yes I burn mp pots a bit, hp pots? Only if the boss 1/1. And 1/1 or hitting a damage refelction is the only way I die. Granted my DB is 171 and as a result has mirror image maxed, but even at the lower levels once you get evasion boost, DBs avoid is very good. They are solid mobbers, solid bossers-really a complete class. Also we were comboing, chaining togthere attacks before it became cool! Hyper skills are also incredibly fun, Asura- you are a whirlwind of death, things just die and unlike many othe classes hyper skill you can MOVE while doing it

As for funding to be good? Yea, but again that can be said about any class really.
What I do not like about DBs?- Need skillbooks, hate skillbooks, why they are still in MS is beyond me.

i find that they are good bossers and mobbers
if you are a damage wh0re then they are right for you
In addition, they are one of the very few classes that ever get nerfed
every patch it seems that they are getting better <3

I think on a scale from 1=Underpowered, 10=Overpowered, Dual Blades would be a 6. Actually, a 7.
I actually don't mind the mastery books required because it reduces the Dual Blade population... (I got mine from the Dual Blade revamp event haha)
They can get boring sometimes, so I just move to another character, then come back
AND... the skill books ALSO reduce Dual Blade population, but I'm not complaining because I worked to get them and it keeps Dual Blades unique!

Fun to play, a bit dull training sometimes, but overpowered as hell :C

Favorite class of Maplestory, I love their attacks, their hyper skills are beautiful and I just like everything about them they're so cool.

When I first heard about them, I thought they would be able to equip two of the same kataras, like Mercedes' Dual Bowgun, appearance-wise. Whoever designed them like how they are now, really hates Shadowers. I can't afford any better dagger because of them. Also caused everyone else to get secondary weapons, but Shadowers, and I think 1H Paladins, can't even use them because Shield Mastery won't work with them.

OT: Hypers are amazing... I love epic adventurer, asura and all of the buffs we got to PB. My range went up to over 185k buffed now i'm happy

IDK anyone that has called DB as a class 'weak.' For the unfunded DB, good luck even getting past Slash Storm, Shadow Meld, and all your necessary Mastery books at such a low level.

Really fun my favorite Thief job and my first character was a DB
I sadly started it like a month or two after those cool mask items were obtainable for leveling though

look boring and they are overpowered lol

I love them but I think the graphic design of our skills should be revamped somewhat

Theyre a really fun class. Kinda one of those classes if you go get bored on your main, go train on your db!

I like them alot it may seem repetitive for all the advancements before 4th because slash storm,bloody storm, and assaulter are similar moving mobbing moves. But it wasn't really at all the. You get moves at 4th like phantom blow, and blade fury which make it a class with much more variety when training and a lot more fun. I enjoy them a lot. Trained 3 levels at llc yesterday didn't get hit one time
