Got reported for leveling too fast

Using the level 70 exp potion someone saw one of my chars. leveling up quickly and they reported me. Nexon isn't gonna do something stupid and say I am hacking right? O.o

@apexalpha: So it is the BigWig potion? I don't see how leveling twice in succession even looks like cheating then. I remember when Nexon gave out this potion that took you to level 70 immediately; people were leveling like 30 times in a row.

@helpingly: It's the potion that Nexon gave out this week. Free character slot and exp potion. I just did it while inside resistance hq

@assasin474:
He didn't use a BigWig potion. He said he used one of those accumulation potions, causing him to level up several times in a few seconds. The BigWig pot will only level you once and does not look like someone is "hacking"

the report button's been broken for quite a while now, only proper way to report someone is to use live chat which most people aren't gonna go through the effort of doing (unless their just that petty)

you're fine, nexon can't tell their heads from their asses but i'm sure even they could tell the difference between someone botting and someone who used a bigwig pot.

Don't worry. Nexon does respond to reports, but they do it through proper channels. They don't just report as a knee-jerk reaction (like the person who reported you). If they need to check data, they'll do so, otherwise, they'll monitor your account for a short time to see if you're doing anything suspicious. If things check out, then nothing happens. Since you weren't doing anything against the rules (right?), then you should be fine. If you WERE breaking the rules somehow, then you ought to be nervous... despite the cynics here, yes, they can and will find you and punish accordingly.

But really, it sounds innocent enough that you should be fine ^-^

@pavchka: He never said if he got unbanned, but he just quit like 3 days after.

nexon won't ban real hackers and botters, what makes you think you'll get banned?

Nexon doesn't normally react to in-game reports unless a user has been reported a whole lotta times. I don't understand why your guildie was banned. Did he get unbanned eventually?

A propos, my Bandit was was once reported for having Haste. According to the reporter I was hacking because he was pretty sure only Assassins had Haste.

@xaiosun: Gotta make sure. I remember my guildie was using tots and he went from like 33-35 and someone reported and the next day he said he got banned.

Call that person a n00b and pretend you gonna hack his account.

@apexalpha probably not for a couple of reasons. Nexon usually doesn't check in game reports too often iirc anyways. Also you could very easily explain your situation and they could look at your account/history to see what caused it. Lastly many people have been in this situation before with nothing becoming of it.
