Any tip for online shopping?

So i'm getting my debt card fixed so I can use it to basically buy stuff online now, I only use a credit card once online and that was to buy some textbook for college , with my mother card

I live in Canada so tax is a thing for me, and im just afraid of scams in general

I just try Amazon .ca for now and then I move in to the more detail shopping

I would recommend using paypal to buy things since then the website itself doesn't get all of your information and then you also have another layer of security.

As you're from Canada try sticking to Canadian sites. The exchange rate is insane if you're going to be importing anything from the US.

If you're purchasing items from big name sites you don't have to worry. Only websites you have to look out for is ebay or shady looking websites.
