3. Last I checked they tried to remove that aspect of signing up and revamped the process.
There are several sites (cough Leafre) which can help you make an account.

7. Well the KMS and GMS definition of Pro are different. KMS has lower prices on gear such as CRA, however their level of standard is much higher than GMS. So I would say it takes just as much effort to reach KMS pro as GMS pro.
8. As a foreigner to KMS who can't read korean, I just sell all the drops.
9. Yes, there are several alliances and guilds for english maplers.

how does the market place work? is it easy to function? Is there any restrictions? How did the economy change when it arrived? Has it been easier obtaining mesos now?

You can't change your job branch. e.g. warrior to mage
You can only change classes within your branch. e.g. Bishop to Ice/Lightning
So your HP and MP wouldn't really change.
