Imagine if this actually happened? I remember them making a barebones MS iOS app, but I think they ended up forgetting about it...

The DS game was made in Korean, also 3 ios apps. Maplestory thief, Maplestory Cygnus(just dawn warrior and blaze wizard), but both of those were removed from the appstore due to the newest game, Maplestory Live, which has mechanic, dual blade, demon slayer, and angelic burster.
Edit: Whoops, forgot about cave crawlers, but that isnt traditional maplestory.

Isn't Sega involved in the newer 3DS version? Could've sworn I read that somewhere several months ago.
The single player DS game was actually pretty good, I've beat the story for all four classes three times each
It's playable without being able to read Korean and it's cross compatable with english DS systems.
Yes. U can play it on emulator with a rough English translation. Also, there's a new ms game on 3ds. There's 4 Mobile apps. MapleStory Thief Edtion, MapleStory Cygnus Knights Edition, MapleStory Live, and MapleStory Cave Crawlers.
There was one in the asian markets... it just never came over here.
It wasn't an MMO, though, but rather a single-player story-based game.
they made the iOS app actually i believe they made 2. Did attempt to play one so can confirm it's existence but it was terrible lol
