Help for Social Axniety

Well, this is really hard to say but I've noticed myself growing less and less social to the point where I don't really have any friends. I feel like when ever I talk that I'm being judged and that none of my co workers like me and I don't even know what I do wrong. I'm one of the best employees and always keep my environment clean and I'm really nice to all of my co workers. I even do some of their work some times when they don't want to do it.

Please, if you have social anxiety I'd really like to hear your advice on how to get over it. I've been this way for as long as I can remember and I don't even like myself anymore. I feel depressed almost all of the time and I just don't know what to do. This is really hard for me to say all of this but I just don't know where to turn. I don't even stay in touch with my old friends or anything.

Just be nice to people and force yourself to get out of the house/office more and you should start to gain more confidence. Team sports are also a great tool for gaining confidence around other people, just pick a team sport you enjoy or would like to try and join in.

Mine is improving (in high school) because I realized that I won't even see 99% of these people again.

realize that when you have a fear that somebody is judging you, it is a projection of your shadow. if you learn to judge other people less and are mindful to catch yourself when you slip into your mindframe, you can change your default thought patterns, and the truth is, with social anxiety, the harshest critic is yourself. if you can learn to be more tolerant of yourself, whenever you find yourself in an anxiety provoking situation, you can mentally put yourself in the other person's shoes, and think about how you would react if you were them; once you do that, you realize things can't be as bad as a fearful mind might imagine. "Something's wrong when you regret things that haven't happened yet"

@jmichael95: I've actually caught myself a few times judging people. Now that I'm aware of the problem I think I can actually work on it.
Thank you

Work isn't exactly the best environment to be making friends, I don't think... But what do I know? I can be socially anxious myself, so...

Well he is talking about his coworkers but same thing
OT just get out of your comfort zone cause social anxiety gets worse cause it sounds like your just extremely introverted. My sister has social anxiety and she cant be around people without having a panic attack
