Question about farming greed pendant
I've been trying to farm a greed pendant from MPE. I do know that it drops from all bosses, but at a low chance, and it has a higher drop chance from the rhino boss, which has a relatively low spawn chance. I've been training a few characters at MPE, and I've noticed that after my characters reach 100, I no longer see the rhino boss spawn. Am I just really unlucky, or is there something to this?
Any help on farming for a greed pendant would be helpful. I've seen about 5-6 rhinos and haven't had one drop yet =/

You're just unlucky, keep persevering, you have to get it eventually!
Sometimes l'll have characters that l train from 100-120 that are able to collect about 5 Greed Pendants in total, and l'll have characters that don't get any Greed Pendants at all.
I find the rhino every like 4 runs so idkkkk but I have a lot of pendants too. what I find to work for me (may just be my head) but if i kill the boss in under 3 seconds it's drops one
I have piles of greed pendants, but that's probably because I usually only train mules on 2x So when I do meet a rhino boss, i have the 2x event and 1.6x from spider, and I don't think I've ever had a pendant not drop from rhino boss under those circumstances. But yeah you're just unlucky when it comes to the 100+ spawning
If you already have a pendant, try using that character with as much drop buffs as possible (obviously), and just scout for Rhinos. From my slew of unfunded characters, I'd say NL/DS is the best due to their drop rate skills, and BT is the fastest.
From my experience, the rhino comes out every 10 runs or so.
Lol. just found a rhino on my sin, but no drop. I don't think i've ever seen one on my xenon though. Ever.
@TripleBladez: I just remember reading somebody posting in one of the older threads that the other bosses had a really low (i.e. 5% or so) chance to drop the pendants. I guess tat's wrong then =/ Thanks for the correction
I've gotten Rhino over level 100.
Currently leveled my Phantom from 90~125 by doing MPE, and only gotten 2 Pendants, seems quite rare to me.
You're unlucky, and second of all, it only drops from the Rhino boss, not the other bosses. Whoever told you that it drops at a low rate from the other bosses gave you misleading information.
I have gotten the rhino on a level 123 xenon, but it didn't drop anything. All my greed pendants came from the rhino, I didn't know the regular bosses could drop em to. I think the rhino drops the gold potions only though.
You're just really unlucky. The rhino boss comes along every once in a while, but it really just depends on luck. Sometimes I go MPE 10 - 15 times (I farm tickets daily for the pots in case I run out) and never encounter him. Usually he appears 2 - 3 times though.
As for the Greed Pendant, yeah it isn't a 100% drop. Or an 80% drop. It feels more like 20 - 30%, but I could be wrong, this is completely observational. Just keep trying and MPEing daily, you're bound to pass by him eventually since MPE isn't going anywhere any time soon.
Are you using any drop multiplier's? (try using 2x drop coupons, egg buffs, etc and they might drop)
