This is happening to high schools in the US too? Wow, I thought my area was the only one in on this (university wise, Canadian btw) and this uproar of memes happened to our school pages a month ago.
Some of them are funny, most are crap because people don't know how to use memes properly, but when it comes to the potential harmful + hateful ones (E.g: 'not sure if that's a really ugly man or a female engineer'), this type of crap can actually get people into trouble whether it's a joke or not to their superiors (E.g: You talk crap behind your boss on the internet and they find out, say good bye to your job). Since business institutions take their crap seriously (they care a lot for their reputation and technically the students do represent their schools), oh man these uneducated kids are in for it lol.
