New Computer - Now Choppy Game Play

I recently moved from a Intel 2.6G core to a 3.6 990x Core, 4 GB RAM to 12GM RAM, Windows Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate, etc, everything is newer and faster.
The only issue is MapleStory... I now get unevenness and choppy game play. Internet connection or service did not change. Any ideas?

I was going to say this. Well super-computers like the TS's one should have smooth gameplay.

It's mostly your internet provider and plan, but an older laptop could be slower by 5% or so.

Nope, graphic card is a brand new 2G Radeon 5900 series. I can play other other very graphic intense games at 100 FPS. 2D MapleStory is choppy. Go figure.

<<when maplestory is running, go to your task manager, go to process, find maplestory, right click, clikc "set affinity" and set to all cores>>
That sounds like a good idea, but it keeps telling me, access is denied....?

My bad, it's 9.61MBPS down and 2.10 up, sounds like that still isn't that great. I'm on the east coast hitting the Scania server.

It is 2MBPS. Why would it slow down? 2MBPS worked fine on the old system...

Switch to XP? If that doesn't work I don't know what will. A computer like that shouldn't lag. And double check your internet again, It could be possible that you have gone over some sort of bandwith limit (as with comcast) and that usually slows or stops your internet.
