How to solve equations with inequalities?
Hey guys,
So on my homework sheet, there's this one problem with both a less than sign and an equal sign,
and I have no idea how to solve this since there's both of them. x_x
Can anyone help me?
Equation:
4x - 2x - (x - 3) < 8x = 2
Please show me step by step on how to do this.
I'm so confused.
It says that 4x - 2x - (x-3) is smaller than 8x=2.
if 8 times X equals two it means that X is 0.25.
4x - 2x - (x-3) = 2x - (x-3) = 2x - x + 3. That's x = -3. Therefore you can see that 0.25 is bigger than -3.
Where'd you get -3? o-o
