For anyone who says something other than mage ultimate nerf, have you played this game for more than 3 years?

Yes, but they got the biggest nerf. They basically went from by far the best to the worst. Other classes like Mechanic, Angelic Buster, Luminous, etc. were usually around the top and then nerfed to slightly above average.
No one has to agree with your opinion, regardless of how long they've played, (although it is kinda true, but still).

Still were able to be used for training though; maybe not for ksing but training

Insert a 60 second cooldown on soul drive, and make a nerfed brandish is your main attacking move, and you have post-big bang mages.

Yeah, but a no-cool down genesis? hits a pretty big area, height and width wise.

Imagine taking a class's core training skill and adding a 30 sec CD. Yea.
The mages were top of the DPS. They made Kaisers look super weak so they had to be nerfed.
And I/L's chain lightning made Luminous' Reflection look super weak. That's why they nerfed chain lightning too.
