Maplestory 2nd Chance 2.0 questions
I was permanently banned about 3 months back but with this "second chance" thing going on right now I decided to send in another ticket to see if I could get my ban appealed. Having previously tried sending in tickets I discovered I was banned for "impersonating a GM" (seriously.. people get banned for this?) yet after I tried submitting a ticket today I received quite the response. Nexon is now accusing me of : Item duping/item generation hacks, Meso/leveling exploits, fraud/chargeback, etc... (copied straight from my ticket) This is rather unsettling as now I am not exactly sure why I was banned. Even when I try to resend a ticket it is instantly auto responded to giving me the same response as I got from my first ticket.
Is there no hope for my long lost noremac or is he banned forever. Also is this happening to anyone elce? has anyone actually been un-banned?

@odin00789: They took down their live chat concerning ban appeals. You can only apply to be unbanned through ticketing now. iv been put on the "don't unban" list and get my tickets immediately rejected.

Honestly if you're account isn't blacklisted on the "Don't unban" list, you can go live chat and get unbanned asap.
And as a honest tip, when you enter live chat, tell them that you live chat'd them last week (Though you didnt) and the assistant said that they'll unban you within 3-5 days. Tell them it's been a week, and they will check your account status (Whether or not you're on the Dont unban list) and if you're not on that list, you will get unbanned within 1 hr if you insist you've been patient since the last live chat

That's nexon for ya. If your still curious as to why you were banned your best bet is to try resending a ticket while this stupid 2nd chance thing is going on now as they have to give you an answer within 48 hours. Atleast now they are replying to tickets pretty quickly.
At least you were actually accused of something. My level 200 paladin's account has been blocked for over 2 years without so much as an explanation as to what it was that I did. To this day, I still have no idea what I was banned for, just that "I violated their terms of use".

What ticks me off is you basically have no rights in MapleStory they can basically terminate your account anytime they want for any reason they want which means you could be perm banned for something as silly as posting a YouTube link in game. Maplestory: One nation under nexon. Its actually getting to be a little creepy how people can invest thousands of hours of their lives to this game (and hundreds/thousands of dollars too) just to get banned for something as simple as that.
but but but.. nexon's no fair ):
they don't list your account under item duping/ item gen hacks, etc for nothing. say good bye.
