Was I Hacked?

Ok, so I just logged in and I see some weird Character (I think it was named like iamkaiphas or something, and it was a kaiser) as my main.
I've never seen that account nor heard of the name.
So I thought the only explanation for that weird Char. was I was hacked and they made a new char and "Mained" it.
I check all my chars through the pick your main thingy on the Maplestory website, and there is no iamkaiphas.
I tried re-logging to see if it would do it again, and it doesn't.
Anyone know why that happened?
Was I hacked?
