Cygnus does 50k. For classes with slow attacks speeds, 100% pet auto HP will have time to heal like, 1-2 times, before you kill yourself. On the other hand, if you're a mercedes/bowmaster then you'll be dead before your pet even notices.

@brandon146: Yeah, basically. Just pace yourself if you're unsure. Attack once, heal yourself manually, attack again, and repeat. That's what I do as a Buccaneer. As a Kaiser as you've probably already been told, you can ignore DR with final form and the 150 hyper skill. On topic though, no pets will not heal you if you hit an enemy using damage reflect. They will heal you once you take damage from something else though (not another hit of DR).

I've had pet auto health for 8 years now...I still spam pots like I don't have it. I don't think it catches everything happening to me, either. I've come so close to death and my friggin pet did nothing and i just spamspamspam pots. moo. it's been set at 60-70ish percent health for every one of those 8 years, too. (I use, and have always used, white ginger ales.) meow.

Like someone already said if the DR dmg exceeds your total HP you will die regardless if you got a pet with Auto Heal or not, whether you said it on 50%, 60% or even 100%. You simply can't stay alive if it hits the same amount as your HP or exceeds it, it's a fact.

They are most of the time 1HKOs because most of the classes don't have the amount of HP to tank those DRs. My NL can tank a DR from PB but I am sure I will die if I kept spamming my attack skill if the pet doesn't heal fast enough. To me surviving 1 DR hit from PB is sufficient, I am given a chance to survive that if I would keep spamming attack and if my pet failed to heal me, then it's my own fault for not paying attention.

All dr's do a diffrent amount of dmg. So as an example ht only does 10k while cpb dr does 70k. But if the dmg exceeds your hp you simply will die with or without pet hp.

it depends on which boss youre doing. i only have 30k hp and my pet heals through cht dr but it doesnt stand a chance against pb's dr

If you're a demon avenger, you aren't affected by damage reflect.

@ashleyattacked i swear your high? ..... @stevenman76 kaisers can go through DR but only in the 4th job final form... 3rd form he can still die.... @4kyosuke4 so your saying if i attk through DR... heal myself? then attk...

He's a labrador...haven't seen him do anything with a computer...much less play maplestory.

In my experience, pets don't heal you after you hit an enemy that has damage reflect activated. Not every damage reflect kills instantly, giving you the chance to use a potion, or wait for the next attack to hit you which causes your pets to then use the potion. With your hp, you would survive most damage reflects. Pink Bean does under 30k. I'm not too sure about Empress, I have 56k hp and survived her damage reflect. So I think as long as you hit only once. Your will survive.

Usually I find that my pet has a small delay on healing, so I wouldn't count on it.
Don't kaisers go through dr though? o-o
