Windows 7 and Maplestory

Hey guys, I've got a few questions relating to Maplestory and Windows 7 (on my laptop).

1) When it comes to using emoticons (f2, f3, etc.), is there a way to use them without using the FunctionKey+f2, f3. etc? It's kind of hard to stretch when hitting the Function Key and f7, and I was just wondering if there was a way to mess with settings so that I could just hit f2 or f3, and it'll display the emotion.

2) Now, this is specifically for Windows 7, (I believe), the Shift and Ctrl key cannot be hit multiple times. *Note, I'm not talking about Stickykeys/Filterkeys, I've disabled them already (no window pops up when I hit/hold down Shift/Ctrl). Whenever I bind an attack or buff to Shift/Ctrl, I have to hit it multiple times, I cannot just hold it down and have the attack spam out animations. I've adjusted to using letters for attacks (D for Demon Impact, etc.) but I've always wondered if there was a solution to this.

3) The Maplestory system allows you to allocate a key to take screenshots and it'll send those screenshots to the desktop, the Maplestory folder, or a specified folder. Now, on my Windows 7 laptop and my Windows XP laptop, this function doesn't work. Is it just me? Or does this happen to everyone else too? My Windows 7 laptop actually doesn't have a Scrolls Lock (or a Fn+ version of it either).

I've adapted by using Fraps, but surprisingly even though I've got 4G's of Ram, Fraps + Maplestory makes me lag like crazy.

4) Is there a way to minimize Maplestory memory? It takes about ~800k while running, and with Fraps and Skype on, that's another 180k. Even though, I've got 4G's of Ram, it still lags when I use Demon Cry/facing a boss like CHT. I understand this is a broad question, so, yeah.

Any suggestions/troubleshooting/solutions for these would be awesome. Thanks a bunch!
I guess that's sort of a solution, but there's gotta be an easier way. ._.

You could always just pin it to the taskbar so all you need is one click to access it.
Sadly, I've Googled all these problems. I came to Basil as somewhat of a last resort.

1) I have a pretty cluttered keyboard as it is, I don't think I have any free places to put emoticons.
2) Tried, there aren't any fixes to my knowledge that have been published.
3) I can access the folder, but nothing is inside it.
4) I do both of those things, to little effect. :X
All programs>Accessories>Ease of access> on-screen keyboard, this is if you want to take screenshots since it will have the missing key.
1. I am running windows 7. There's no need for fn+f1.
2. Disable sticky keys.
3. Use print screen key. fn+prtsc then paste it on paint. Or use a program that should be pre-installed called snipping tool.
4. There's a few ways to do that. You can modify the .wz files to reduce ram usage. There's also some illegit ways.
1) On my laptop, I have to press the Function key in order to produce an emotion.
2) Once again, I've disabled them. There's no window that pops up or anything when I hold down Shift/Ctrl, it's just when I hold them, it only produces one attack, not multiple.
3) Yeah... I use Fraps.
4) Errr...
