Whats a honors? Im still in jr high so i dont know
honors is just an accelerated class for the people who find the general ed class too slow. the reason why its slow is cause of all the kids who dont give a crap about schoolwork. EDIT: so what this means is you put the kids who cant do 1+1 and the kids on geometry level in the same class.
I'm not familiar with the U.S.A education system but I'm assuming it's a bad idea since you would be attracting the very smart students to come study in your school.
i feel young by saying this, but im only in middle school. but they removed all types of honors because supposedly, the kids in general ed "felt bad that they weren't in honors, and it hurt their self esteem" or some BS like that.
