It was a very pleasant experience. All the stories intervene together perfectly. Even though it's like 3 hours long, it didn't bother me one bit. The cinematography & visual effects are breathtaking. Everyone did such an amazing job playing diff characters! Hugo Weaving's genderbending roles were entertaining to watch.
The only minor complaint I have is the make-up/costume designs on some parts. Like, when they try to make the Asians look white or whatever, you can tell they're clearly Asians & vice versa during the future scenes. I don't know how to explain it, but if you watch the movie, you will understand. xD...

Believe me, Cloud Atlas has plenty of action as well. And so much adult material. I'm surprised it was only rated 14A
