Breaking up over text
What do you think of breaking up over text?
My friend just texted me saying she broke up with her boyfriend. I asked "how?" and she said "over texting". After being stunned for like 15 seconds, I started laughing and then started feeling bad for the guy.
How do you guys feel about it?

It's cowardly and shows that the relationship probably wasn't a good one anyways.
That must suck. It means the person is too shameful to even say it in person. I'm surprised people even start going out if they don't even have the guts to break up normally.

i personally got dumped over text a few months back, it really enraged me and made me hunger for answers
Its pretty immature but some people are cowards when it comes to confrontation so they take the easy way out and text/email/instant message it.
It's harsh. I don't know how to explain it but it's just taboo.
'specially after that 6teen episode where wyatt got dumped thru text.
Yeah, I told her, if you couldn't do it in person, at least do it over the phone or something.
Doing it over text is so low.
