Giving someone confidence?

Alright, there's this girl at my school whose like 6'2" and very athletic. She's a volleyball player but she's not very good at it because of her confidence, It's literally 0. She has tons of potential because I've seen what she could do. I believe she's self-conscious about her height and what not. So I'm wondering, what could I do to help her bring her confidence up?

Wouldn't that make her too confident? She needs to practice with someone good so she can improve. I'm not saying TS is bad at volleyball though.

This. And you should tell her how good she was after she hit the ball (sorry I don't watch volleyball )

@BigRedMeat: I don't wanna smash her. Or do I? Hmm, I wanna get her better at volleyball. Since I'm only 5'7", I don't have chances to do division 1 college sports, but she does. I want her to understand that she has everything to make it. Plus, she ain't bad.

@gangar32: Right, again? Apparently people just label her as a lost cause. I wanna give it a shot to see if I can get her outta her shell.

@gangar32: Freakin' right? I'd kill to be 6'1" and athletic, she just doesn't have any. I wanna turn her into a super star.

@Outfoxed: Everyone says she doesn't have any confidence and from when I've talked to her, she avoids eye contact, fidgety, etc.
