Lunar Dews Thread
Hi. I'm currently searching for Lunar Dews, and I have to tell you. It's quite a pain in the neck. I know, in the end, it's going to be worth it in the end but for now, it's quite tiring.
I'll post how many dews I've gotten for the days that I've been searching for them and the approximate time it took me to find them
Day 1: I found [b]6 Dews[/b] over the period of [b]4 hours and 30 minutes.[/b] Total: 6 [b](1X drop)[/b]
Day 2: I found [b]2 Dews[/b] over the period of [b]2 hours and 20 minutes.[/b] Total: 8 [b](1X drop)[/b]
Day 3: I found [b]1 Dew[/b] over the period of [b]2 hours and 0 minutes.[/b] Total: 9 [b](1X drop)[/b]
Day 4: I found [b]1 Dew[/b] over the period of [b]1 hour and 10 minutes.[/b] Total: 10 [b](1X drop)[/b]
Day 5: I found [b]1 Dew[/b] over the period of [b]1 hour and 30 minutes.[/b] Total: 11 [b](1X drop)[/b]
Day 6: I found [b]1 Dew[/b] over the period of [b]0 hours and 30 minutes.[/b] Total: 12 [b](2X drop)[/b]
Day 7: Current - 2 so far today (on 1X)!
I'll try to keep you updated in hopes of giving you a mental boost or some motivation, if you're loosing any. I'll be here to try and aid you along this pretty challenging quest.

[b]Update 1:[/b] I've added the drop rate I've been hunting these at. I also want to say: I'm level 100 and looking for these. As soon as I finish this quest, (and maybe get a MoN), I'm going to move on to the next quest, which will also be added in this thread. I am PURPOSELY dying at Lv. 100 right now because I don't want to level up for the skill I'm going to receive, because apparently, it takes 10 levels to get one SP into that skill. So I hope by 150 I'll have it maxed (and HOPEFULLY get boosted in chaos Patch).

Yes, this is true. If you are over level 100, you can do the quests back to back.

It is a pre-quest for the UE skill.
The UE skill quest is 10x harder.
GL + HF.
I got all 20 of my dews in ~24 hours <3 45mins of 1.2x drop XD and 10 soul lights in ~2days
10 Peridots in 4 hours on 1.2x/1x <3

@Serum: Desert Rabbits in Ariant. Both types drop them I believe, though I hunted mine at the female ones IIRC.

The first set took 21 hours on 2x for me. (using Cassandra's 2x buff during the event)
Hopefully you'll have better luck than me there.
In case anyone wants recommendations for which option they should pick for the lights:
1st set: Depends on class, if you have a relatively spammable AoE attack, I'd go for Poison Poopas.
2nd set: CUBE SLIMES, no doubt about it.
3rd set: Reinforced Mithril Mutae, better map IMO.
4th set: Bone Fish, pure spawn.
5th set: Hankies, obvious choice seeing as Gold Slimes have a terrible map.

But how long did you try each day?
I have 1 drop on my DrK and haven't found any for 2-3 days as well, but I've only been hunting for 2-4 hours a day on it.

The 20 dews took me 7.5hrs. Poison poopas weren't much fun and took 3-4 nights for rank 1. Blue flower snakes took only 5hrs so I guess I was lucky there rank 2. Pandas took 2-3 days for rank 3. Currently I'm at Bonefish on quest 4 but I haven't gotten any yet cause I missed the 2x events fishing.
Should I stay at bonefish? Master death teddies seemed kind of spread out. Also for quest 5 should I kill Gold Slimes or Hankies. Which is an easier map to grind on?[/quote]
Having maxed Soul Driver myself, You should go to Bonefish for lvl 4 SD its SOOO much easier there than MDTs. Go to Hankies for lvl 5 since Gold Slimes are way too spread out , Although when i did mine at Hankies there were hackers in every ch but one nearly all day. I dont know about other people but the higher lvl quest i got the easier the drops came.

You need to hunt quite a while for 1 drop. My first one took 4 hours of consistent killing for 4 hours on 4x. The quest is a pain in the rear like that, you might find one or you might not find one at all.
P.S. I finished all the quests.
17 hours and I've only found 12.

It's no longer glitch. Any explorer jobs can see it. I know some normal mages have flame gear.
i failed badly on mine heres how it went
Day 1: found 3 in 5 minites and thought this was easy.. 4 hours later i still only have 3 total... havent been back since... too asshamed

No the 20 Lunar Dew Quest is to get the skill that lets you wear items 10 levels above yours. THEN you get the quest for the KoC skill. Thats when you need 10 lights based on your class. Thats the quest you get to do back to back if you are 120+. So you need 50 of them, max level for the KoC Skill is 5.

If you are level 120+ you can do the quest back to back. No need to level up 10 times.

I finished a week ago, but I want to give you guys some motivation, even if it's level 1.
Took me 10 days. Used: 1.2x rep, 12hrs of 2x card, 4hrs of 4x.

Took me about 7 hours to get all the dews. The next part for warriors takes about 100 hours. Still havent gotten anything though.

It's rumored that as creepyjigsaw said, people who are above a certain level might be able to do them back to back. However, if that isn't true, you can only get up to level 4 of the skill.
OT: I found one dew in an hour on 1x, then another on in 2 hours of 2x -.-'' Total of 2.
Got 3 Dews from 1 hr of x4. Wasn't able to be on for the first hour. Not bad on x4. Currently at 10/20.
my first day i when 4 hours without any dews, and my second day was during 2x drop and starting an hour before till the end i got 1 dew and hour into 2x (so 1 hour 1x and 2 hours 2x). that's an equivalent of 9 hours for 1 dew. i find it hard to believe that im just that unlucky when everyone i've ever heard talk about getting them has said about 1 an hour.

Oh by the way I heard if you are 110+ You don't need to level 10 times. You can just do the quests back to back. Hopefully if I manage to get all my Lunar Dews I'll try to confirm it, unless its already confirmed.
I also plan to get some of these Dews on the second 2X today, as I'm busy on the first. I'll keep you people informed

Only adventurer classes including DBs. So Heros, Bm's, MM, NL ect..

You turn them in and get the skill that lets you wear items 10 levels above yours. Then you get another quest which lets you get your KoC class related skill, you have to get 10 little balls(color depends on your class). You need to get 10 every time to want to level up the skill(max is 5). And from what I heard these are even worse than the dews themselves.
Nice I was planning on doing something like this but I was just too lazy. Good Luck on the dews! By the way it would be helpful if you put what drop rate you got them on. Like x1.2 or x2.
