Glitch on boat, stranded on an island. So, while completing the level 70 Evan's "Secret Organization's Fifth Mission" on Slumbering Dragon island (you get there through Olaf in Lith, it's a 15 minute boat ride and the hyper teleport rock doesn't work to get on or off the island -__-) I did the quest incorrectly, so I ended up needing to take the 15 minute boat ride back to return. However, there seems to be a glitch while on the return trip from the island. When there's only about 5 minutes left on the boat ride, everything freezes up, and a message comes up saying "You have been disconnected by a Police GMMaplestory for the HACK reason". I mean, what the heck? I have [i]never hacked, and never will.[/i] So to try to see
How to drive a car? Hello there! So, I turned 18 approximately one month ago, and I have been taking those horrid in-classroom driver's ed classes. I couldn't take lessons during high school, as I was too busy, so now it comes down to this summer before college, since I need an ID card. I have my first on road lessons next Thursday, but I need to be able to drive comfortably through town roads. My father tried to teach me yesterday (this is an automatic transmission) in an empty parking lot, but I can't get the drive smooth and he kept yelling at me, so I'm not really looking forward to learning from him -__- Does anyone have any tips on driving? Waitlisted at MIT-- now what? Hello basilers! So, as March comes around in all its glory, it is once again time for university decisions. Ah, yes, this brings about a time of sorrows and a time of successes. My particular predicament revolves around the school MIT. My father attended the school for his doctorate in physics, and now, I wish to study the same and attend the school for undergraduate school. I've spent the past six years dedicated to getting into the school, only to have formed an unrequited love with them-- today (about twenty minutes ago) I was waitlisted. Now, I have nine more university decisions that will be released March 31st, and I have already received some acceptances. My question is, should I wait for MIT in case the
Rest in Peace, Tevatron :( October 2011 will mark the end of the wondrously amazing Tevatron, the proton-antiproton collider at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. The Tevatron was the second most powerful particle accelerator in the world, behind the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN in Switzerland. While Fermilab will still be in function, as it has several other areas of research (obviously; if it were not to be in function, I would have a heart attack from sadness) the particle accelerator is to be shut down due to the lack of funding from the Department of Energy. The Tevatron had several essential successes in particle physics, one of which being the discovery of the top quark. It's a shame when scientific research is neglected;

Harry Potter and the Deathy Hallows part 1 premiere! Huzzah! The time has finally arrived that HP7 part 1 is out! ...Well, still about 7 hours or so, but close enough. Am I the only one seeing the midnight premiere and/or dressing up for it? Come on my lovely basilers, I know there's a Harry Potter fan in you just dying to go.
