Mechanic abilities feel clunky?

I pretty much played BaM until Black Heaven came out when I switched to Mech. So I haven't been playing it for very long but I feel like Mechanics feel very clunky. Perhaps it may be due to ping but it seems very finicky, first of all, to spam missles and AP Salvo. But disregarding that, even the summons feel like they have a delay that could really screw with you. I think that the healing bot works fine but portals and shock bots delay feel very clunky (most noticeably delay of use after stopping AP Salvo + Missile and then re-using the attacks). Hyper Abilities also feel really clunky to use and sometimes I feel the DPS is lowered by the delay to use your 150/170 hyper abilities.

Are there ways to circumvent this or is this just an innate balancing method?

Yes yes so true. The old mech was beyond clunky. I find the update very refreshing although I miss laser blast from time to time and the robot minions that hovered above me (can't remember what they're called) why'd they get rid of those i used to like walking around nub areas and having them kill everything for me.

Couldn't agree more. That's why I find mechs so much fun is that there are so many different things that can contribute to their damage! Constantly being involved in managing all of their specific attacks and buffs is what makes them so much more interesting than other classes with 1 key attacks.

it feels clunky for me but, i dont have issues with the summons, the delay issues only from AP slavo+ missiles

I feel like it is well balanced. Your DPS increases A LOT if you cast your hypers. The small delay more than makes up for the huge increase in damage output. That's the way I feel about it anyways. I have no issues with it.

That's probably just how it is. If I could change one thing, it would be to make Missles toggle on and off and have them not proc damage reflect like how they changed Distortion Bomb.
