What are the pros and cons of making a wild hunter as opposed to other classes? After playing Zero(the only other class I've actually played) I have concluded

Cons:

Terrible mobility
Compared to zero maybe, but anything has trash mobility compared to them.

Mobbing isn't that great
They're mobbing is actually very good. Again, maybe zero isnt exactly the best class to base comparisons on?

Needs a lot of potting
Wah? Since when?

Moves are really unflashy
This is a con now?

Takes forever to do all the buffs
I'll give you that one, we definitely are a class revolving around serious buff management.

Not a lot of inventory space
This plagues most classes, so this is more a general issue that annoys me.

Not that popular for parties
We have sharp eyes and CotW, both of which are AMAZING. The issue is most people dont know that CotW exists.

Mobility: Fly update the jag jump is boosted and they get an upward diagonal rush.
Mobbing: Sonic roar buff has made it a great mobbing skill. Although it could use some increase in horizontal range.
Flashiness: Only the newer classes and the revamp ones are flashy...
Buffs: Climb a rope and buff there
Inventory space: Sounds like every other class that isn't a pirate...
Popularity: Sharp eyes + Call of wild are great party skills
Potion usage: They have a ton of HP and have plenty of dodge chance. Swipe even heals their HP, I rarely use potions thanks to this + my familiar.

They're not the best class but they're definitely not the worst.

Did you just compare Zero a class built for mobbing to a WH in mobbing? -_-

The mobility and just normal, there's nothing underaverage about it unless you're talking about vertical mobility. After the most recent revamp, they are very good in mobbing due to significant decrease in delays between mobbing attacks. The buffs... you can just fix that with a rope. They provide the sharp eye and call of the wild which is a good boost.

They get a good mobility boost in an upcoming patch; from what I remember there's a diagonal dash and your jaguar can move backwards while you still face forward to shoot at a boss (because readjustment sucks! )

Pros: Delayed attacks early game
Cons: Get called a Wild Hacker
