I've experienced this before on my way home, it's like they want to be hit. They just look at you and keep doing what they were doing like you're not trying to go by.
But yeah, I agree some kids shouldn't be playing on the street. The kids on my street are annoying because they always decide to play catch with their football [i]right[/i] next to my car, which causes them to miss the ball and hit my car. Sometimes they set off my car alarm multiple times in the same day, to the point where the mom came to apologize and sent them inside for the day lol.
Let them be kids while they can.
