Empressstill heals?
wth...I thought they did away with that. I didnt realize she still heals until recently b/c I wasnt strong enough to drain her hp...but how on earth can you even kill her?

the kanna's bind results in damage done to the target.
this damage is apart of the bind effect... so level 170 won't be enough, you need to be high enough level to not miss on empress.
I remember when I was lower level on the DS, using it as a bind mule, I missed until it was high 18x, and eventually 190+
hmmm well I have bind, but Im not sure I can finish off 10% with just 20 seconds. So, I think Ill have to train a kanna mule to 170 for this purpose.
Both of them can heal when they're below 10% HP without being bound. You need to have very high burst damage in order to kill her before she heals, and the only way to do this is by having her cast different animations (i.e spawning mobs, using genesis, etc.) because she can't cast the heal animation while she's in the middle of another animation.

She does heal, one time she DRed right as I was about to bind her to kill her, but she ended up healing since I couldn't bind while she was DRed.

edit: nevermind i was wrong. Thank you for correcting me. Now I'll know this when I do empress in the future for myself.
Mainly with Bind.. or just lucky with DPS.
