you gotta hashtag a ton and give shoutouts and follow people who also have tags like (meaning theyll follow you back). spam accounts with likes on their pics and comment...you know, get their attention. it takes a bit of work but u can do anyhting if u put ur mind to it. i started a new account 3 weeks ago and now have 1007 followers. happy times

Rule 1: Followers should have meaning, not just a number. You want them to truly like the pictures you have.
Rule 2: is a common hashtag to use for both likes and random followers. Use them if you really want to get more followers. Please limit yourself to a certain amount of hashtags.
Rule 3: For courtesy, check your followers profiles and follow them back if you like them.
Rule 4: Have a short blurb for your bio. Quick but sustaining.
Rule 5: Try to filter out your bad pictures and least liked pictures. This way your page will appear neater and more "professional"
Rule 6: NO blurry pictures or at least use half decent pictures.
Rule 7: Have fun with it.

Question, why do you want random followers and people to like your stuff on instagram? What's the point I mean you don't even know them, it just seems useless to me. On topic just spam lots of random #'s. But some people might get mad once they realize your hastags have nothing to do with what you actually showed.

@3moRaccoon How many followers can I expect to gain from adding tagsforlikes on my photos? I have no problem with likes, as I participate in the liking games on Kendall and Kylie Jenner's profiles.

@civfanatics: Yup. If you do them on like all of your pictures, in oike 24 hours you'll have alot of likes and alot of followers.

@3moRaccoon Do those really work? I'm not too fond of people who overload their pictures with 30 vaguely related hashtags. I try to limit myself to about 3-4 hashtags a picture.
