How do I perfect a weapon?
Hi everyone. I've played this game for years, probably since 2006 and i've had 30+ characters, all pretty noobish in level. Up until now at least. I've finally gotten a few characters close to 200 and I really want to make the most out of them and finally try to fund one of my characters. Now I always scroll my stuff, especially now with the new starforce system, but i've never understood how people get such high attack. Someone told me I need to be using 15% spell traces, but how do you even use scrolls with such a low percent success rate? Is it all about luck or something? Next, i'd like to ask how people get super high attack on other items that normally don't have attack. I've seen tons of screens of godly attack items that people have made, like hearts, or shoes or something of the sort. I'm sorry for the wall of text, I just need someone to teach me their ways.

@Cloudshadowv: Not at all! But clean slates are usually 1, 10, or 20%. So usually you will go through a lot of them when making a weapon.

Oh ok, well that sucks about the prime scrolls. I didn't now that there were attack scrolls for accessorys and such. I know I seem clueless about upgrading even though i've played for so long, but I take really long breaks in between short periods of playing xD. Anyways, is there a limit to the number of clean slates you can use on an item?
@Cloudshadowv: They were in the 10th anniversary shop a while back, you can't obtain them anymore but some people still have some lying around on mules.
Clean slates for when the slot fails. It's just all about luck and having enough money. A lot of people used Prime Scrolls however. 40% rate, that added 10 ATK to their weapon. Those scrolls are unobtainable now. Hearts get attack from any sort of Weapon ATK scrolls. You can use a 1H ATK Scroll, 2H Attack, anything that gives weapons attack for a heart.
