Cant become a pirate
I'm trying to become a pirate at lvl10 like normal but theres no option for me too. Theres only an option to become a warrior. Now, I haven't played since right before RED so did they change this or something? Someone told me I had to do prequests or something so I did some of the quests Kyrinn gave me up until lvl13...but that just feels wrong not advancing at lvl10. Was this person right? Or do I need to restart?

Before you get to Lith Harbor, one NPC (I think it was Tess) on the ship asked you what you wanted to be. You might have clicked too fast or skipped it and realized that you actually needed to read the text because you're suppose to choose what job you wanted to be before coming to Lith Harbor.

Nope, theres nothing like that. In my recommended quest log, the only job quest is the warrior one. Hmm...I guess I'll just remake and see if it shows up next time.
EDIT: I meant Available log. Not recommended.
You might have accepted a quest from before that makes you decide which class you want to become. Check your quest log and if you see a quest that let's you change to warrior, forfeit it and start the quest again, this time picking Pirate.
And no, you shouldn't have to level up to 13 to advance.
