i scrolled my empress claw +6 then 10 starred it (i used 5 atk scrolls)
yet i see no difference in damage?
is this usual or?

No difference compared to what previous weapon?

Since he is using 70% spell traces he isn't funded, which means his range is low. At low ranges you most definitely do notice a 50+att boost to your weapon (30 from spell traces, and then however much from enhancing, don't feel like doing that math right now) since it is comparable to the amount of attack you already have.

small range increase =/= noticeable damage increase
I'm not sure why but it seems with NL's this happens. I have scrolled and enhanced majority of my equipment and still didn't notice any damage increase. o.o
Unless you have a 2m-2m range then you should always see an increase in range o.o
