My teenage pregnancy essay

I need help on my teenage pregnancy essay, I really don't know what I should do to edit it, Whats wrong with it?

Teen Pregnancy.
In 2006, 750,000 women younger than 20 years old became pregnant in the United States. To some, this number isn't that big of a deal and teen pregnancy doesn't affect anybody, but they're wrong. Teen pregnancy is a serious problem, and is on the rise again. The babies born to teenage mothers have higher health risks while the teenage mothers are more likely to suffer health, social, and emotional problems. Teenage Pregnancy affects teenagers and society in certain areas more than others and in many ways like, having to rely on the government and suffering emotional problem.
Teenage Pregnancy is common, and is becoming more common each year, but some places always have more pregnant teenagers than others. Usually the country with the biggest population has the highest teenage pregnancy rate. In this case, this is correct; the United States of America has the highest teen pregnancy rate. The percentage is rising too, more and more teenagers are getting pregnant every day, this isn't something to brag about but rather be ashamed about. When people hear that the United States has the highest teenage pregnancy rate, they usually wonder which race has the highest teenage pregnancy rate.
America is the nation with the highest percentage of teenage pregnancy, but the race inside of America with the highest teenage pregnancy rate would be the Hispanics. It's not just the Hispanics though; the African American females are very close behind the Hispanics. According to Guttmacher, Hispanic teenager's pregnancy rate decreased by 26% between 1992 and 2005, before rising again in 2006. This is shocking, it shows that now more and more teenagers are getting pregnant now more and more often. A lot of people also think that people should be allowed to have babies whenever they want, that's true, but it's not okay to have babies just to get free money from the government.
As more teens are getting pregnant, they earn less money, and rely on the government to raise their child for them. People all over the world are having babies just to get free money from the government. The government has been giving out money for many years, and now they're running out of money. The government set a limit on how long you can be on Welfare because so many people were abusing it by having babies and using your tax dollars to raise their baby. They even made new rules like "Teenage parents have to stay in school or work part time in order to get benefits" (Miller 35). These new rules make it much harder for teenage parents to abuse the Welfare system which makes teenagers think twice about having a child just to get money from the government.
Many programs were created just to help mothers in need, as more of these programs were created, more teenagers started having babies. Teenagers just want a free ride through their lives, so they'll have as many babies as they need to get their benefits from the government. To make matters worse, almost all of this money being paid to these teenagers comes from your wallet; you're the one having to pay the price for their actions. While some teenagers have babies on purpose, the majority has babies by accident and suffers many emotional problems.
Emotions, everybody has them, they flare at times and affect everybody. Teenagers that become pregnant suffer many more emotional problems than normal teenagers. Teens these days have lots of friends, they always want to keep in touch with them, but when the teen has a baby, she is stuck at home with the baby all day. According to "Teenage Pregnancy overview, consequences of Teenage Pregnancy" teens that have gotten pregnant have trouble deciding whether to keep the baby after it's born because they want their old life left. There are other choices that teenagers use as birth control that is also very emotional.
Abortion is also the choice of many teenagers, as it has been on the rise for the last few years. Abortion affects the teenager emotionally more than physically. According to afterabortion.org 92% felt an emotional deadening or a feeling where they feel emotionally lost. And 86% of women that received an abortion had an increased tendency toward anger or rage. These numbers represent the majority of the people who received abortions, these affects are devastating. Teens may think that they can get pregnant and just get an abortion to get rid of their problem, but their problem stays with them forever, they'll always remember when they aborted that baby.
Teenage Pregnancy is not a joke, nor is it something you should not care about. Teen pregnancy is on the rise again and is ruining more lives than ever. Teenage Pregnancy affects teenagers and society in certain areas more than others and in many ways like, having to rely on the government and suffering emotional problem. Even though the government is there to help, the benefits are being cut and teenagers end up losing a lot of their social life. Teen Pregnancy ruins lives and causes problems for everybody.
Just some things to point out:
The US does not have the biggest poopulation
Money from government? Thee's also needs to be someething about conservative support of abortion required. I know, it's a touchy subject, but Hispanics do not allow their kids to have abortions.
Try not to use second person
It really needs to be more developed.
Sorry about the typos, I was typing blind while reading your essay while writing the comments.
Oh dang, messed up with the population thing, So just talk more about abortion?
