I teach how to cook mussels

Hola basil market,

I teach mussels

Before cooking notes. Make sure they are alive, to do this you can tap the shell of the open ones and if they close they are alive. Make surenot to put in tap water that will kill!

Heat big pot of alittle dry white wine and garlic and lots of butter until steaming. You only need enough wine to make steam: drink the rest! Put mussels and cover, cook for 7 or 8 min or until all of the mussels are open. Transfer all contents to big bowl. Voila you have nice tasty musscles!

That works too for some extra flavor. I don't do because my pot is lame and implodes when I try. But the simple flavor of garlic and wine is very good for mussels so I don't worry too much about adding salt and pepper!

@windowlegs I thnk he means to saute the cooking pot.

@fakestories Fenks for the compliment! I hope you enjoy your mussels! <3

You saute the pan? Do you use another pan to do that or do you put the pan in a pot?
