Violet cubes
So will violet cubes be introduced permanently or just nexon messing up? if you dont know how OP they are, [url=http://maplestory.nexon.net/community/#%2Fshowthread.php%3F1468336-Violet-Cube%26p%3D12062744%23post12062744]OP AF[/url] To be able to chose 3 lines from 6, this is too good to be GMS, the amount of nx you would need to cube end game gear would be a joke.

Could it be an effort to give players a boost for an upcoming cap raise?
@omgpineapples: I bet they changed it to special promotions after Nexon realized what a big mistake they made.
The chances of getting your preferred lines are going to be stupid low anyways so I really don't see why you're at this but whatever

@lycanthropods it's broken relative to using reds, but honestly i don't think anyone should have to risk spending hundreds of dollars just to cube 1 end game equip, especially when you can't even sell them off for that much. and the thing is, it's not a permanent addition, so treat it as like a miracle time event. people still need to get gear to legendary (maybe unique) for these cubes to be worth while.

Probability of getting 3 useful lines with violet==COMBIN(6,3)*(useful/total)^3*(1-(useful/total))^3+COMBIN(6,4)*(useful/total)^4*(1-(useful/total))^2+COMBIN(6,5)*(useful/total)^5*(1-(useful/total))^1+COMBIN(6,6)*(useful/total)^6
(1/P(r))/(1/P(v))=># of red cubes=1 violet cube
