Whats with American and their love for guns?

Just read on a recent finding from Utah supreme appeal court that overturn a concealed weapon ban in Utah university. I would be so scare to attend any university when the students allow to carry concealed (or not concealed) weapon, especially during exam time that someone might snap from the stress and go crazy with their gun!
Yo, I ain't against banning guns don't get me wrong bro! I just think it's pretty lulzy to cite America circa 1776 as a reason for gun rights today. It's like "uh okay, so basically a bunch of NRA dudes are gonna press off a foreign invasion with their weapons? Talk about delusions of grandeur!" Just gotta mock the more naive and silly arguments like the King Georgian one. Can't help but chuckle every time I see that one.

But yeah, guns for protection bought by responsible people are backed hard by me.
Protection is protection. Whether it's from a criminal, or a government gone bad.

I agree that the shear overwhelming powerful army makes the very concept of a citizen actually fighting even the most corrupt American government an absurd notion. But protection is protection.

Our history is why we have the right to defend ourselves, from threats both internal and external to our country. We were founded on the idea of rising up, so it's in our national DNA.
It really doesn't make much sense in the 21st century tho'. Lol @ Britain invading us and succeeding thanks to the NRA fending them off.
I know, right? There's no other reason to own a firearm. Because we all know that criminals implicitly follow all gun rules and regulations. There's no WAY that making guns illegal could possibly lead to law abiding citizens being defenseless against well armed law-breakers.

Don't forget... When seconds count, 911 is only mere minutes away!

I agree- it's absurd that citizens are allowed to arm themselves.

The next thing you know some of these Yanks might decide to revolt against their rightful and proper British Lords! The Queen only knows what would happen if we let these colonists arm themselves...

Sincerely,
King George III

Honestly I dont see why anyone should be afraid of a guy carrying a concealed weapon around. If a person wants to harm another person, than they will do it. They don't need a gun to do so. They could just as easily hit you with their car AND escape if they wanted.

Not all Americans, but in the G7 or G8 countries American have the most. Yes I am not American and to me any weapon crafted for the solo purpose of killing are not a positive thing for the mass citizen to have, unless its like a lawless society like all those cowboy movies.

3. Racism

Not in any particular order.
If someone "snaps" they could kill you with a pen. Someone owning a gun =/= a lunatic owning a gun

Anyway it's just how the country is. We stand up for our right to own guns. Honestly if you fail an exam because you're afraid someone stressed might possibly shoot you, you're the one with the problems.
Either Americans make very weak guns or very strong pencil!
I see that how American defend their love for the gun, everyone else that don't "love" it has a problem.

Instead of purchasing NX, save all your money and then purchase a 608 attack AK47 with 13% str and they wont even come near you

Yes it is legal and its in the constitution, but my question is to why American "love" it? I see more people protesting about any type of ban on guns than when Macdonald removing super sizing off their menu (which is also legal).
If I am writing a exam and the guy sitting next to me "bears arm" and shows hes having a hard time with the exam, I would be so distracted and probably fail that exam. Worse yet if he distracted other enough and got kick out, I would not be able to concentrate, thinking he would bust back in and go nuts with his gun.

it can all be traced back to the bill of rights.
It literally says, "you may carry around guns in public"
