Good Hairstle for Asian Guy?
So I'm just a regular dark skinned asian guy and right now I look pretty much like Mr. Basil's avatar but tan...what do you guys think are some good hairstyles for asian guys? I need a new look. I guess it stems from some sort of identity crisis being an asian and being told we all look the same.
Looking for asian guy hairstyle requirements:
Medium length
No gel required
The less maintenance the better
I'm thinking of something like Bjergsen's comb over because it's a good length and looks good but it seems like it might require some work and the back is messy

Shave it off and wear a bowler hat. You will look like Oddjob and you will be feared.
Maybe you should look at the hairstyle based on your facial shape. Even though you are an asian, it doesn't mean that you have the same face shape as every other asians. One face could be a little rounder and one could be a little bit squarer, or sharper. Who knows.
Also, maybe you can look at how to cut your own hair in youtube (once your hair starts to grow out). It's fun cutting your own hair and making it fit to your own want, but though at first, cutting without experience is kind of nerve wrecking and you may make mistakes, hahaha. Maybe you can think about cutting your own hair in another time.

I like to comb mine swept to the right so that you're able to see where the hair on my left separates and my huge forehead.

Obviously no gel, gel is so trash. Use wax, preferably clay wax. And you dont need to limit yourself to 1 set style, you can do whatever you feel like that day like for me I have pretty medium length hair and when im lazy i let my hair down so its that long side-swept look but when i want to put in some effort i wax my hair up and to the side or just to give my hair more shape when i want to style it downwards.
On a side note, you can try getting a perm and experimenting with wax to see what suits you, just dont get a super curly perm cause lma0, just get a light wave.
