If you can one hit sh mobs on nw, their mobbing is arguably better than nls in that situation. You don't have to move around when you train and just have to turn back and forth to clear the whole map. 1v1 isn't even worth debating, Nls are still short of nw dps. You're better off on a db.

NW's are still slightly better than NL's in terms of dps after the nerf, but only if you properly jump attack. Their mobility is also much greater than NL's, with both a vertical jump and a backstep.

Their mobbing is worse than NL's unless you have very high damage, enough to 1 hit the mobs you train on with Shadow Spark and Bats.

@fairystories: I've used back step on nearly every boss, it's true you might not need another back step in another 5 seconds, but some bosses attack constantly. I've probably use back step after every 2-3 attack in Hard Gollux and it'd be harder to do Hard Gollux with my range without back step available straight away

i never use backstep myself its causes a delay between skills im gonna go abck to nl after the patch reaches cause i only like there quad throw animation xD and there mobbing also but i also like showdown that nl have like it i said it gonna be a back and forth thing to be honest until i finally decide to settle down reboot coming next month so yeah not much time

After the Reboot patch, the gap (in terms of dps) between NW and NL is going to be a lot smaller. Although, because NW has jump attacking, we still deal out more dps. Other than that, things will be as they've been this entire time: NW shines at bosses, NL shines at mobbing/training. The only Night Walkers who are going to be very upset--and rightfully so--about the nerf are the handful that are currently able to cap on ~every~ star.

I disagree with a previous post up here mentioning that the 5 second cooldown for Backstep would be a major change because I personally have never found an occasion to use Backstep more than once. There's a bit of a delay between using the skill consecutively anyway.

Night Walkers will still be far more powerful than Night Lords bossing damage wise, Night Lords are still better at mobbing, and it should remain like that for eternity, that's kind of the point. Night Walkers suck at anything that isn't 1v1 bosses, so it makes sense that they are significantly better than Night Lords in that single aspect. Reboot probably hurt Night Lords more than Night Walkers, considering Showdown Challenge drop and exp rates have been chopped in half.

I haven't read the whole update, but the 5 sec CD for back step is a massive change in my opinion, but I think it's even now between NW and NL, NW will still be a better bosser, but won't have a great dodge ability it once had.

as for world transfer, Windia xD, statistically, Windia is more populated

Night Lord always seems so stable, and always on top, whenever the situation. Like, Night Walkers were better than Night Lords at one point, but they were both on top.

Also, not Windia nor Bera, but Broa <3
