Red Questions
-Does Blade Ascension replace Upper Stab, or is it an entirely new skill? If its an entirely new skill, am I able to dump my points into it to be able to put into 4th skills without touching Sharp Slash and Fatal Blow, and can Upper Stab link to Blade Ascension?
-I have several old Mastery Books of other classes, can I turn them into someone for the new Mastery Books?
-Does complete SP reset (if given out in RED) also reset hyper skill points?

in all technicality, yes, and most likely it would benefit from the bonus damage from upper stab... but that chain will be insane, US>BA>FA>BS>BF seriously doubt anything needs that kinda burst combo and US is worthless at mini bosses (SH, HoH, TP)

From videos i've seen its not going to replace upper stab for DB. Upper stab is great to spam on bosses or enemies that don't fly in the air. Blade ascension looks more useful to link with flying assaulter. The issue as a standalone move is that it lifts you into the air as well so I don't see it being spammed by itself unless they change it.

Tested this out with one of the past SP resets, did not reset my hypers.
