Well, we can definitely conclude you didn't play do Masteria's quests before it was taken out
to find jack you have to go to like the corridor of pain or something located in lower ascent. you get a map from him by choosing the last option and then you can go back to taggrin to get the next quest.
I just did the quest to give him 25 seeds but no other quests came up?
i might need a screenie of that option cause i dont see it on him
