I made a simple mistake on my first try. i fixed it. you can see it now. I accidentally thought 14x14=144...
Height: 6
Width x-(6x2)
length x-(6x2)
So: 6(x-12)(x-12)=864
864/6=144
(x-12)^2=144
x-12= 12
x=24
NEW ANSWER: 9
2(x-4)^2=50
(x-4)^2=25
x-4=5
x=9
YESS IT WORKED TYSM
X=24ft
32.7846
6(x-12)(x-12)=864
6(x^2-24x-144)=864
x^2-24x-144=864/6
x^2-24x-144=144
x^2-24x-244=0
factor it.
you get 32.78 and -8.78
-8.78 doesn't work. so it must be 32.78?
it was 24 o.o
now that i got it wrong 3 times it gave me a new question http://imgur.com/Sd8AtEW
@PinnacleWalk: whoops i used x-6 lol
also instead of all that math work you can just plug the equation into a graphing calculator much faster LOL
OH I REMEMBER DOING THIS HOLD UP FAM
35.4ft
PLS LET ME BE RIGHT
PLS LET ME BE RIGHT
Height: 6

x=26
edit: idk if it's right
