"Hope we have money"? Why... for an event we just got done with?
I'm pretty sure it's just calculating how much we spent in November and rewarding us based on that... and if so, I'm pretty sure I at least got a free Tyrant out of it. And if I fell just short, then hey, I at least get another free permanent pet to throw on one of my Explorer classes.

If you read the post, it says 'Those who spent money during the Black Friday event'. The event time period is for people to collect prizes. This theory I am 85% sure.
EDIT: Not saying if I am wrong, I will be spending all of my christmas money and more on 2 or 3 accounts. @.@ dam nexon

aww thats sucks.. I got back to maple after the Black Friday event and i spended around 80 k of nx

You can say that on many stuff we buy daily. Why buy soda, when you can get water for free?
If Maplestory makes you happy, I don't see a good reason why you shouldn't spend money.
