How Long Does it Take For You to Start Maplestory?

From the time when the game beings to start, like when you click 'play' on the launcher after it shows the updates, etc.

How long? 30 seconds when I just tested it, 20 seconds after I tried it again. This is on Samsung Pro Series 840, I wanna know if my load times are relatively normal compared to other SSDs.
Logo drives me crazy, takes up so much time in relation to my loading time...
But on my old hard drive it took like a minute.

Also if you know, tell me if it's a normal HDD or SSD.

EDIT: Got 8 seconds just now, lolwut.

Comp takes: 3mins or less

If you just started up your computer, it has to load all the files so it's going to take a bit longer than usual. If you already loaded Maple before and didn't turn off your computer, the files are already loaded so it's going to be quicker. For me, it takes like 1 minute when I just started up my computer, and around 15 seconds when I open Maple again.

Approx 5 minutes and after a second time it may start faster.
HDD of course. My desktop is a bit faster than my laptop with loading the game.
5-10 sounds acceptable compared to my 15 seconds I guess. But 1 second? That's insane. I can't think of a single drive much faster than Samsung Pro Series right now...

Look at how large of a difference in loading times people experience though. 1 second, 30 seconds, FIVE MINUTES. Jesus...

EDIT:
YES, I just restarted and it only took 8 seconds.

Five minutes is better than my Craptop.. (Well it still have floppy disk, reasonably old and it's dying anyway).. Though
It's only 15 seconds! Would it matter if it slow down a bit?

@dr4g0ns1ay3r: Uhh i think parallels doesn't work in general. (I might be wrong) Anyways parallels causes lag either way if it works or not. I use bootcamp. All you need is a Windows CD and key. Then just follow the download process through bootcamp. If you need more help just PM me c:

I lose track after 10 second of it not responding. Eventually I'll wake back up to the sound of the Nexon logo.

For the game to fully load, somewhere 5 ~ 10 ish

SSD, same as yours. If anything, probably just bigger SSD size.
Don't you guys think that 5 minutes if completely ludicrous? I mean, the entire Maplestory folder is only 5 gigs. How much stuff is actually there that need to be read?

I've tried to benchmark my SSD, it seems to be on par with other people with my SSD.
So you guys just start Maplestory and just... go make a sandwich and come back? o.o Pray to god you didn't crash or that's another 5 minutes...

If you can find out what hard drive it uses, that'd be awesome. I bet it's also a SSD! <3
Dat's crazy though, it's hard to believe a SSD from that time period can beat my SSD.

How old is it? o.o
My gaming PC from 5 years ago only took a minute. I used a slightly newer hard drive as the boot drive though, still 7500 rpm.

I'm not sure if it's a troll but it SERIOUSLY takes 5 minutes to start Maplestory? o.o
