Returning Hero re-gearing suggestions
Coming back from this after nearly 1 1/2 years, there's too much new stuff especially the new equip mods (2/3 liners) that I'm not sure which to prioritize. My hero is lv151 and I want to be able to solo level pretty fast. Here's my current gears on him
lv120 lunchbox (yes it's that old) w/ +4 str 126 atk. N
2L +12 atk, 60 hp
Half Earrings w/ 6% str
Tenacious green leather belt w/ 4% str
Scarlion STR hat w/ 4% str
I have about 700m in funding left and with today's "standards" not sure if that lunchbox is still gonna cut it. It's still not hammered so I might use GM scrolls on it to get 136 atk. It was the best 1h sword back then but not sure if that's still the case.

There are three tiers for potential stats.
0-30 is first tier which gives 1% stat on rare, 2% on epic, 3% on unique, and 4% on legendary (which just came out today).
31-70 is second tier which gives 2% stat on rare, 4% on epic, 6% on unique, and 8% on legendary.
71+ is third tier which gives 3% on rare, 6% on epic, 9% on unique, and 12% on legendary.
So as long as an equip is over level 71 it will give the best potential stats. The 19 attack maple shield is still pretty good though. You can either sell it and buy a level 71+ shield with a lot of attack and %Str (or just cube it yourself if you have the NX) or you can keep it and upgrade other gear. Eventually you will want a shield with both attack and %str but you don't need it for now since 19 attack is still a good amount.

You can basically get any level 71+ warrior shield and get a combination of watk and %str and it will be better than any maple shield. %str is very important.
I see, about shields. Are there better shields worth scrolling/cubing now? MS shields used to be the thing w/ it's 10 slot advantage.
Lunchbox will take you a long way. Especially if you get it to 136att+ because of its fast(4) speed. It will however become less useless if you can get your hands on DecentSI when it comes out or 140 equips.
I don't think a scarlion helm can get 4% stat....
It's third tier which means it should be 3/6/9.
Anyway. Basically just get as much %str and attack as possible. If you have a ton of money go for the Lionheart Set items. They are all level 140 and most require 170 dex but they have amazing base stats and get even better when you have all or most of the set complete.
