Evan not one of the five heroes?

Found this on SP: "Evan isn't one of the five Legendary Heroes that battled the Black Mage. Therefore, that covers the missing puzzle for E where players assumed the last E was Evan."

Thoughts on this and EunWol?

@DayServant: Idk, it didn't seem changed to me. On second thought, I really don't know KMS's storyline so yeah...

They can be lost from memory sure, but when Luminous/Aran/Phantom/Mercedes were all there, how could they just forget? That to me, is a stupid explanation.
They probably got a compensation package for losing their memory so its all good.

@Aeon128: Well yes, I understand that certain things have to be ignored, and things will be stretched, but that is just a plot device that I personally dislike. Is that okay to say? And anyway, I never got the impression that no one remembered the other heroes, it was just that the heroes weren't relevant until Aran came out. It was always supposed to be the FIVE heroes of Maple, who can just go like "OH WAIT, THERE'S A SIXTH HERO". I understand that with the nature of the game, things like that are going to happen, but again, I just happen to dislike this one explanation for it.

guys don't overthink the storyline. it's stupid and nexon fails at being consistent

@zpattack12 You mean like how know one even remembered the heros until one day nexon finally started to release them? Please anything is fair game at this point, no such thing as stupid when you have the stuff like the black mage was sealed with a spell so powerful that you couldn't even go back in time before he was sealed .

Eunwol isnt one of the 5 heroes who battled black mage, so i dont really get the point of your thread.
yes he is, i was erased from existence after he putting the sealing stones in place. somehow he ended up on grandis (never really explained why or how he did), anyways none of the heros.
Well, as everyone said before, we all knew that Evan and Mir were never the ones who actually fought the Black Mage, but I doubt it could be Eunwol, because we know what happened during the Black Mage fight, and Eunwol/Another hero was never there. Unless, they pull off some BS, which will probably end up stupid.
Eunwol sacrifices himself to power Luminous' spell. This causes Eunwol to be forgotten and removed from "reality".

Actually, Eunwol was one of them, just that memory of him was lost.

How nerdy do you have to be to actually think this matters? >.<

I doubt Eunwol was even intended as part of the storyline. I think nexon just made a sloppy frantic change just so they could introduce a new character.

Evan isnt the hero himself but the successor, he could be considered as one of the "heroes" since he is the successor of Freud, who was one of the 5 heroes who fought the black mage.

Kind of disappointing really I'm not very fond of updates like this where it's just "oh and here's what you guys didn't know" and change the story completely.

Evan isn't the real hero that fought the black mage many years ago. That's because Freud & Afrien were the ones that fought alongside Mercedes, Phantom, etc, against the black mage.
Evan is Freud's successor, while Mir is Afrien's successor.
@ above: There's supposedly a "6th" hero that chose to get his memories erased to seal the black mage for good.
But that's what I heard...
