Wrong pricing for perm nx items?
Recently I've been selling off some left over perm nx items.
This is how I sell: Look up online fm site or just go all around look for the exact same item hoping that someone would be selling.
However I realized that this method is not working.
When ever I offered a price (was around 100m or a little above) people say that it's all too over priced. I know it depends on the item but generally perm nx are expensive.... right?
I usually offer that price because I see the exact same item sold at around 150m and above in fm.
So anyway my question is:
Am I selling things too over priced? It was not equip but like accessories (label rings, ears, glasses etc). I am asking this because whenever I offer a price they always say the same thing: Oh my friend said this thing is sold at blah blah price etc... so I was curious.
Also if I am selling things too over priced, than what are those prices for perm nx on fm? people buy those things right? Is it wrong or something?

For expensive perm nx items, i never underprice. If you don't have the money to buy, then don't buy it.
I sold a silver wolf cape yesterday for 3b, when earlier that week I got offers for only 1b. I rather wait than underprice my items i know are worth more.
I'm pretty sure you're good since you mentioned that the NX items you're trying to sell have been sold for the same price and above. I've had a few people leave offers in my shop where they're trying to low-ball me, which might be the case here? You can check the FM daily (since Owls of Minerva don't work with perma. NX items) and make a note of the prices that the NX items (if there's any in the FM) were sold at or were left unsold; like @krishman said, I also lower the prices if it doesn't sell for that amount in a week or I see a decline in prices (ex: I saw the Ferris Wheel Chair being sold and bought for 2bil+ last week, but this week, I've seen the prices dropped from that to 1bil-ish).
There's also a merchanting forum on Basil where there's a PC thread, if you think that'll help. I'm not sure if it's active though.
I wouldn't listen to them. They just want whatever you have for cheaper. I lower the prices only if it doesn't sell in a week, or i see that it is actually being sold lower than i originally thought.
