Does % Total Damage increase range?

I bet my friend 4b if total damage increases range. Does it increase range?

Edit : Point of the links are cause my friend still doesnt believe me ( the pics ) and only believes basil -_-

Initially, assuming 0% att and 0% TD (or any equivalent amount), they have the exact same effect on the range. However, if you have unequal amounts, whichever you have less of will raise your range by a larger amount (if you have 21% att and 12% TD, then 9% TD will raise your range more than 9% att) due to how the formulas work. However (this is where it gets slightly confusing), even if %TD increases your range more than %att, chances are that %att will raise your damage by more (assuming you're attacking a boss; if you're attacking regular mobs, then disregard this). This is because %TD is additive to %boss, so you have to divide TD out of your range, add it to %boss, and then multiply that back into your range to figure out what your damage would be. For %att, it's multiplicative to %boss, which is why people always say %att is better than %TD.

Yeah, %TD affects your range, they changed it so it multiplied into your range like 2-ish years ago. Your friend might have been confused because back then it wasn't considered in your range.

It increases range a lot in fact lol. and @DarkOdor: % atk increases my range less i believe. My secondary has 21%matk and only increases my range by around 15k, while just 12% total damage increased it by 12k

It increases range about as much as % att, but is only about a third as useful on bosses.
