For the Reboot World
I'm planning to try the Reboot world but I really don't know which class I should start in a new world. What class is good to begin with in a new world? I want to consider the fact that I will be very unfunded and will likely not be able to do so well on my own.

@trumpet205 I've always hated Angelic Buster.
@fradddd: I would suggest Angelic Buster too. Very mobile (double flash jump and Grappling Heart that allows her to quickly move to the top platform).
Angelic Buster is also strong without needing to be super funded.
@syncrinity yeah I've been considering Dual Blade, I had fun on the one I made. People just always say they need lots of funding to be good though.
think ima do DW for blessing then maybe a kanna to leech to 200 for medal link and card
@fradddd: xenon or dual blade? Both are excellent mobbers too, will work well in Reboot
I wanna play an adventurer but just not sure. I kinda wanna try Night Lord, but I've already leveled one post-RED so it wouldn't be anything new.
What's as jumpy and fun as Night Lord, besides Mercedes (which I'm also considering)?
I'm planning to main corsair again. Though I have a question. Since only your specific class items drop, I wonder if that applies to bullets/throwing stars
I was thinking Kaiser, as at higher levels you can use that DR resistance on mobs...
Hayato's my fav, but I think Phantom will be most practical.
@bradleetee: There is no Ultimate Explorer anymore. That was removed quite a long time ago.
Explorer (not Cygnus Knight) these days can do a quest called Empress Might where they gather extremely rare drops and give them to Cygnus to get a skill similar to Ultimate Explorer. Only the Mage and Thief skills are worth going through the trouble and doing it.
And Mihile is a very poor choice for Empress Blessing mule. Leveling Mihile without any sort buff (as in starting fresh in a new world) is nothing but a pain. Probably the hardest character I played with leveling up to 4th job. If you are going to play Mihile, either do so for the link skill or because you are madly in love with him.
I'm thinking Mihile is a good choice. Gives you max empress blessing, a decent link skill and an ultimate explorer if you can get it to lv120
@dragonlove Literally everything revolves around your own hard work and the in game mesos. You cant get help from anyone or anything outside of your own gameplay.
I'm going Lumi, op mobbing, good bossing, high survivability. Another choice is Demon Avenger, those are really good.
Demon Avenger or Xenon are good choices for Reboot, both are great unfunded and have a good character card + link skill, which are very important in Reboot. Mages should also be amazing since they all great at mobbing (and in Reboot mobbing = lots of monsters killed = lots of mesos = cubes) as well as being great unfunded classes overall.
EDIT: To be more precise about Reboot's restriction, there is absolutely no trading between players and equipment is completely untradable too, so you can craft 'training gear' or anything like that and transfer it through storage. That's why character cards, Blessing of the Fairy/Empress and link skills become so important.
Oh, so its like the Pink Bean phenomenon. Well, either way, what class would be best to choose?
The reboot world has it's own unique rules, you can not be "funded". Trading is disabled completely, you can't buy powerful gear from other players, many NX items can be purchased with mesos, meso drops are greatly improved and monsters only drop equips for your class.
