Question about Burning event

I thought that last time there was a burning event you could burn a char, get it to 150, and burn another char but my guildy says that it's only 1 per account? Do you guys have any input on this? I was planning on leveling a bunch of link mules.

Thanks!

@drchi anytime haha. Now the real problem is to figure out which character I "Burned" earlier because I think I did it before but I can't remember if it was my lv 191 Hayato... or if it was some other lower level character I wouldn't care about deleting/changing over, but I suppose with all the leveling decreases, it won't matter much anyway, tbh.

EDIT: it seems like all burning characters need to accept a quest, specifically, in order for you to be "burned." Haven't accepted the quest before, so I don't think I have burned a character yet. Is there any way to verify which characters in existence are receiving the Burning effect?

Let me preface this by saying: though I do feel that everyone else is right about only having one character in existence that can ever have been burned, in OT's defense, the issue with the Nexon's description:

"Create a brand-new character during the event period. From the character select screen, choose the new character on your account to have the "Burning" effect. Only one character on your account can have the "Burning" effect. If you delete the chosen character, you can select another character to have the effect,"

is pretty much everything that's written.

Firstly, the event is entitled "the MEGA Burning Project," as opposed to older events being named simply "The Burning Project," which suggests that it is somehow different from previous events and that different conditions apply.
Secondly, though there is nothing that states a character reaching level 150 no longer receives the effect, there is nothing in game to suggest a previously burned character that no longer receives said benefits is still considered "Burning," either, nor is there a statement from Nexon that resembles the statement, "existing characters having previously received benefits of The Burning Effect will forever maintain their status of 'Burning'."

Lastly, the statement "you can select another character to have the effect," seems entirely contingent upon the fact that you have to have "create[d] a brand-new character during the event period," and it could be argued (not that it matters, but since we're all online talking about it, we might as well discuss why it's so nebulous) that @drchi 's original assumption was not at all out of the question.

So no, I don't think that OT's question was at all a bad one to ask.

@drchi: I don't know I think "Only one character on your account can have the "Burning" effect. If you delete the chosen character, you can select another character to have the effect." answers it pretty well.

@xxwinterk9xx Incorrect, you can only have one character for the burning event. However if you delete the character that was "burned" then you can make a new one.

If you can get the first character to 150 then you can select a new one to burn. But it's only 1 character at a time.

It's only one; Reading is fundamental.

it's once per account, you can delete the burned character however and be able to burn another one.

Yea it's one per account. All the past events have always been limited to 1
