Corsair

Returning player

So I came back to Maple to introduce it to my friends that are planing to play Maplestory 2 with later since they never tried the first yet. I came back and found that I my skills have been reset. Anyone know an up to date corsair build? I went to the one in this site but it looks old since some skills we now have are not there.

Last December all the Explorers got major overhauls; unfortunately for us we didn't get too much except for an extra crewman summon and reimplementation of Broadside. This build pretty much sums most things up except for Broadside (The New battleship WHICH ISN'T A MOUNT and levels with rapid fire so you don't need to put SP into it). And Quickdraw which can be maxed last since it's more of a bossing maneuver. For our hypers just use all the Headshot Hyper Skills (CD, Reinforce & Extra Hit) and Boss Damage and Reinforce for Rapid Fire (which also applies to Broadside too, so we'll get a 20% boost and 20% boss damage bonus as well on Broad Side). We've had a few UI changes and some new content since Tempest. I don't think there's too much you've missed out on.

There's going to be a massive system update coming soon after Anniversary ends; you better be ready lots of new events and content.

Right now the best method of getting mesos is selling anniversary leaves that drop from monsters to people (roughly 10k EACH they're bound to inflate around June 10 when Anniversary Events end and everyone begins to try and hoard as many leaves as possible)

You can also try Evolution World which is a soloable/party Quest and farm Level 110 Armor which drop there (Evolution World is basically a series of maps you can customise with items called "cores" you can use armor drop cores to allow armors to drop). You can then extract these at Ardentmill with Player Owned extractors and sell them for 500k-1m each. You can do the same with Dimension Invade PQ which is also a soloable party quest which drops armors unlocked at 140 (Evo World unlocks at 100)
Also we've had a revamp in Crafting Systems as well and there's a large demand for crafting materials hence Superior Item Crystals are a good start.

Also to mention Mastery Books have been changed. Some old mastery books can still be used but people can now buy mastery books in stores for 7m/10m for Mastery Book 20/30 which have a 100% chance to increase skill cap. You can always try looking for old mastery books in FM and try your money on those (ranging from <5m atleast) but most people prefer using the NPC ones since it's 100% > 50%/70%

Have fun!
Thanks this helped out a lot.
